Adventure outing up NORTH
Yesterday, I started my journey up north with Bryant and his x-classmates at about 7.30am. We reached Gua Tempurung at about 9.30am. There are 4 different type of tour available:
- Golden Flowstone Tour
- Top Of The World
- Top Of The World + River Adventure
- The Grand Tour
We took the Grand Tour which is the most challenging tour. We started from the underground river walk. There are several section where we had to crawl where the water level reaches our neck and our head almost hitting the ceiling of the hole. I was crawling and crawling and crawling.....oo...i almost reaching the end of the hole, but the small tiny rocks underneath me makes it harder. Finally, I gave up and just golek myself (like in the hindi movie) until I reach the end of the narrow cave.
After the underground river walk, we have to climb through muddy cave. There is 1 hole where we have squeeze our body through so that we can get to the bottom of the cave. Luckily I'm small sized. Otherwise, I have to really squeeze my body through. Haha..I wonder how Bryant did that. Luckily, he did not get stuck at this stomach area or his buttock area. Another challenging part is to slide down a 25 metre slippery slope which is almost 75 degree slanting. I slide so quickly that almost hit the bottom but luckily there's another person at the bottom to catch me.
After the muddy trip, then we continue to walk approximately 1000++ staircase to view the facsinating rock formation, stalactites, stalagmites, multi-tier ponds, volcano-like rocks, glittering crystal-covered walls and etc..
All in all, it is a worth a visit and this is my very FIRST adventure trip. Whooa....I'm proud of myself. Give me an applause please!!
